Tricoci is a NACCAS Accredited School

AACS Golden School Awards 2022 School Of The Year AACS Golden School Awards 2023 School Of The Year

Accreditation is a fancy word that means, in an academic setting, a school has met key education and performance standards that are set by an industry oversight agency and are recognized by the United States Department of Education (DOE).  Accredited schools are evaluated by agencies that maintain formal relationships with the DOE.  The agency setting education and performance standards—as well as evaluating against these standards—for many beauty schools, including Tricoci University, is the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts & Sciences (NACCAS).

While accreditation is not necessary to be a great beauty or cosmetology school, it is important for two primary reasons:

  1. It is evidence that the school is committed to very high education standards and, for multi-campus companies such as Tricoci University, that there is consistency across all campuses.
  2. It is required for a school to offer federal financial aid programs, which help make school significantly more affordable for many students.

If a student would like to receive a copy of the TUBC’s licensure, accreditation or other credential, they should request the specific information from the Enrollment Advisor or Campus Director.
