Our founder Mario Tricoci built a highly successful chain of upscale salons and day spas under the “Mario Tricoci Hair Salon & Day Spa” and “Mario Tricoci, Too” brands. Driven by his high degree of professionalism, taste, aesthetic refinement and work ethic, he set out to create a different kind of cosmetology program in 2004. Focusing on a creative, high-performance, environment, Tricoci University of Beauty Culture was born.
Accreditation means that Tricoci University of Beauty Culture meets the industry standards of education and training set forth by the United States Department of Education. While a cosmetology school does not need accreditation to be a good school, we invest in maintaining this distinction because we believe it benefits our students to receive training in an environment that meets or exceeds these standards.
