Women and men 16 years of age and older, who are not currently signed with a modeling agency (or do not have an exclusivity clause), may enter Tricoci University of Beauty Culture’s “Fades & Fringe Model Search”. (Persons under 18 must obtain parental/guardian consent prior to entering the contest.) Contestants of the model contest understand that by entering this contest, they agree to be available for the in-person final selection round (scheduled for March 27, 2017 in Chicago), as well as the professional photo shoot (scheduled on May 4 and/or 5, 2017 in Chicago). Contestants also agree that if they win both rounds, they are willing to have their hair and/or makeup altered per Tricoci University’s Design Team’s vision (cut, style, and/or color) for the photo shoot.
Each contestant is required to submit two or more photos (maximum of 7) of him/herself for the online portion of the model contest via [email protected]. At least one traditional headshot and one full body shot is required to be eligible as a contestant. The email must contain the contestant’s name, phone number, birth date, height, and dress size (for women) or pant and shirt size (for men). Photos must be sent between February 14, 2017 and March 10, 2017. Image portfolios for each contestant will be posted online at www.fadesandfringe.com by March 13.
Contestants and the public will be able to vote for their favorite models from March 14-20, 2017. People may cast votes by visiting www.fadesandfringe.com on March 13th and clicking on the picture of the model they would like to cast their vote. Limited to one vote per person per day.
The 6 men and 6 women with the most votes, will be invited to the in-person final selection round of the contest. Tricoci University reserves the right to invite additional persons to the final selection round regardless of votes.
1-3 men and 1-3 women will be selected from the in-person round as the winners of “Fades & Fringe Model Search”.
Winners will receive a Paid Photo Shoot Agreement of ($500 per day with one day guaranteed and an option for second day) with Mario Tricoci, up to $300 in free beauty services by Tricoci University staff or students, and will become the new faces of Tricoci University.
